Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership tiers

All play at Club Padel is booked and paid through our booking partner, Playtomic. Booking windows, court rates and member pricing are applied through that system.

Gold: £30 a month, or £330 a year paid annually. Up to 300 members. 12-day booking window, 10% off food, beverage and the Pro Shop, first refusal on Founder places.

Silver: £20 a month, or £220 a year paid annually. Uncapped. 10-day booking window, 5% off food, beverage and the Pro Shop, second refusal on Founder places.

Pay-to-Play: no membership. 7-day booking window, open to anyone, subject to availability.

Gold and Silver carry a one-off joining fee on the monthly option. The joining fee is waived when joining on the annual option. Monthly membership runs on a rolling monthly basis; annual membership runs for twelve months from the date of joining. Membership is personal to the named member.

2. Booking & court time

How far ahead you can book depends on your tier (Gold 12 days, Silver 10 days, Pay-to-Play 7 days). All bookings are made through Playtomic; members log in to see their full window.

Gold and Silver do not include court time. Court time is paid by the hour: peak £60 per court (£15 per player) and off-peak £50 per court (£12.50 per player), based on four players sharing. Rates are confirmed on the booking system and may change with reasonable notice.

Peak times are weekday mornings 6am to 9am, weekday evenings 5pm to 11pm, and all weekend. Off-peak is all other opening hours. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 6am to 11pm and Sunday 6am to 8pm.

Cancelling a court booking. Court bookings may be cancelled through Playtomic up to the cut-off shown at the time of booking. Cancelling after the cut-off, or not turning up, is charged in full. This applies to all members and Pay-to-Play alike.

3. Member benefits

Gold members receive 10% off all in-house food and beverage, and the Pro Shop. Silver members receive 5%. The Pro Shop discount excludes rackets and balls. The discount applies to the member only and has no cash value.

Founder-place priority. When a Founder place opens and is not filled by the departing Founder's nominee, it is offered to the waiting list: Gold members first by seniority, then Silver, then registered prospects. Each member offered a place has 2 days to decide before the next is offered. A member taking a Founder place joins as a Founder at the prevailing Founder rate.

Members are invited to club socials, leagues and events. Some events, leagues, tournaments and coaching are booked and paid separately from membership.

4. Payment, renewal & cancellation

Monthly membership is paid by recurring monthly payment. Annual membership is paid in full at the start of the year and saves the equivalent of one month against the monthly rate.

Monthly: cancel at any time. Membership ends at the next billing date; no further payments are taken.

Annual: paid in full and non-refundable. An annual member may choose not to renew at year end, but the annual fee is not refunded part-way through the year. A separate cooling-off period applies to the Gold annual pre-sale (see clause 5).

Annual membership carries the right to renew at the same tier each year. Membership prices are not fixed and may change on renewal, with reasonable notice. The right to renew protects your place at the tier, not the price.

5. The Gold annual pre-sale

A limited number of Gold annual memberships are offered alongside the Founder sale, ahead of general sign-up. These pre-sale terms apply to that cohort, in addition to the Gold terms above.

The Gold annual pre-sale offers Gold membership on the annual option, £330 paid in full upfront. Because pre-sale members may pay before they begin using the club, a 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of payment, during which a pre-sale member may cancel for a full refund. After the cooling-off period the annual fee is non-refundable, in line with clause 4.

Pre-sale Gold members receive their full Gold benefits, including the 12-day booking window and Founder-place priority, from opening. Seniority for Founder-place priority runs from the pre-sale join date, ahead of members who join Gold later.

Your 12-month membership year starts on opening day, targeted for early 2027, not the day you pay. If the club is unable to provide Gold membership as described, pre-sale members are entitled to a full refund of the pre-sale fee.

6. Junior players and age

Club Padel welcomes junior players. Access to games depends on age for supervision, and on playing ability for the level of game.

Players aged 13 to 17 may play standard games and Playtomic Open Matches, with the consent of a parent or guardian, subject to Playtomic's requirements for junior users and to being of an appropriate playing level for the game. Club Padel matches players in Open Matches primarily by playing level, not by age.

Players under 13 may not independently join standard adult games or Open Matches. They are welcome to play through private and family court bookings, the Junior Academy, junior socials and competitions, coaching, and other designated junior activities. Under-13s must be appropriately supervised by a parent or guardian, or by a Club Padel coach or member of staff, as applicable.

Adult-only activities. Some activities and events, particularly social events or those involving alcohol, may be designated 18+. Where an activity is adult-only, this will be made clear when it is advertised and booked.

Club Padel operates a separate child safeguarding policy, available on request, which applies to all junior members and their activities at the club.

7. Conduct, suspension & termination

Members agree to the club's code of conduct. The club may suspend or terminate membership for serious or repeated breach, including abuse of staff or members, dangerous play, non-payment, or repeated no-shows.

If the club terminates a membership for breach, no fee is refunded. If the club terminates a membership without cause, an annual member receives a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the year. Monthly memberships simply end with no further payment.
