The Original 100
Club Padel opens in Shoreham in autumn 2026. The founding hundred is formed once and never again. Whatever the club becomes, there will only ever be one Original 100.
What it means
One of the Original 100. The founding hundred is formed once and never again. Years from now, long after the waiting list has formed, the founding members are still the founding members.
Your place is yours to keep, or to pass on. Renew it each year for as long as you wish. If the day comes to step away, you may nominate one person to take your place, subject to club approval. A place may be nominated, but never sold, rented or traded.
Your Founder rate, protected. For as long as you remain a Founder, your rate will never rise by more than inflation (UK CPI) in any year, and will always stay below the standard membership price.
Guaranteed priority access. Founders book up to 16 days ahead, before any other tier. The courts you want, the times you want, your regular game protected while everyone else is still waiting for the window to open.
First call on the Show Court. Championship run-off space, match-lit, elevated viewing above, smart recording on every point. The stage of the club, and Founders get first call on it.
The Founders' Wall and the Founder community. Every Founder is named, with their consent, on a permanent wall in the club. A community with traditions of its own: the Founder Cup, the Founder Ladder, and the annual Founder Championship, plus first refusal on every club competition and event ahead of other members.
Founder Play, included. A £3,500 Play Credit a year, applied automatically whenever you play. Premium sessions, such as the Show Court or peak-time games, simply use a little more. When the credit is spent, you play on at standard player rates.
Guests and dining. 12 guest passes a year, one a month, and each lets your guest play free. Plus 15% off F&B and the Pro Shop (excluding rackets and balls), the natural home for the hundred between games.
A voice, and a place for your family. Twice-yearly meetings with management and the owners to help shape the club, consultative, no strings. Plus priority on junior academy and camp places for your children under 16, at a preferential junior rate once the programme opens.
The investment
One annual fee for a place among the Original 100: a seat at the club that protects your rate, and is yours to keep or to pass on. Once 100 is reached, a waiting list begins.
The door closes at one hundred. Places are confirmed in the order payment is received. After that, the waiting list.
Your 12-month Founder year starts the day the club opens to Founders, not the day you pay. You never pay for time you cannot use.
Founders play before the public. The play-in weeks belong to the founding hundred, with the public arriving from 16 November 2026. If the opening date moves, your 12 months simply start whenever we actually open. You do not lose a day.

When does my membership year start?
On the day Club Padel opens to Founders for normal use, ahead of the public opening on 16 November 2026. Not the day you pay. You are paying now to secure the place. Your 12 months run from opening day.
What if opening is delayed?
Your 12-month year simply starts whenever we actually open. You don't lose any time and you're not charged anything extra. We'll keep you informed throughout the build.
How is my Founder rate protected?
For as long as you remain a Founder, your rate will never rise by more than inflation (UK CPI) in any year, and will always stay below the standard membership price. As padel grows and prices climb, the founding hundred are protected.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. Just email alan@clubpadel.co.uk. And if the club has not opened by 28 February 2027, you are entitled to a full refund of your fee.
Can I pass my place on?
Yes. If you choose not to renew, you may nominate one person to take your place, subject to club approval. Otherwise it passes to the waiting list. A place may be nominated, but never sold, rented or traded. The cap stays at 100.
